Launched in 2002 under Tete Homme, founded by Kazutaka Katoh in 1981, HaLb emerged as a Japanese brand led by Yuji Kobayashi until 2005, when Kiminori Morishita, a Tete Homme designer since 1986, took over as creative director. Morishita, who ran his own label from 2002, steered HaLb's distinct minimalist aesthetic until 2009, before the brand merged back into Tete Homme in 2014.
This jacket from the early 2000s comes in an incredible wash and features a very interesting closing mechanism, detachable racoon fur hood and overall cropped fit.
